Questions & Concerns

Do you only provide remote services?

If a client is local in the Los Angeles Area we do provide services in person at our client’s business location.

Are my sessions kept confidential?

All sessions are kept confidential under the same rules as HIPAA.

Do all hypnotherapy sessions include coaching?

All hypnotherapy sessions do include coaching based on the needs of the client.

Do you offer refunds on sessions?

All sessions are tailored to each client’s needs. Once the intake form has been submitted and payment has been made the work starts on the hypnotherapist part to prepare for the first and follow up sessions. With that in mind, we do not offer refunds.

Cancellation Policy:

My time is my income and my hours are by appointment. Your time slot is reserved exclusively for you. Please arrive promptly to obtain your full session. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required, except in an emergency or inclement weather. If you must cancel or reschedule due to an emergency, please notify me as soon as possible. Thank you for your consideration.

Prepaid Sessions:

The above Cancellation Policy also applies to any programs with prepaid sessions. Except for emergencies or bad weather, 24- hours’ notice is required. Failure to keep your appointment or non-emergent short-notice cancellations may result in the forfeiture of a prepaid session. No refunds will be given for unused prepaid sessions. All prepaid sessions are non-transferrable and will expire after six months.

What does hypnotherapy feel like? Is it safe?

Hypnotherapy is completely safe, relaxing, enjoyable and surprisingly effective.

Hypnosis is not mind control. It’s a naturally occurring state of concentration; It’s actually a means of enhancing your
control over both your mind and your body—over perceptions such as pain, anxiety, habits, stress.

Will I need a referral from my physician or psychologist?

Most clients simply want to change or improve something in their lives, but haven’t been able to make the change  successfully on their own. So, in the majority of cases, referrals are not necessary.
But if your issue has a medical origin (e.g., pain management), or relates to a psychological disorder you were diagnosed with, a referral from your physician or psychologist will be required.
I can also send a request for a referral to your physician or psychologist for you.

I can then work with them as part of your support team. My services are non-diagnostic and do not include the practice of medicine. I will only provide those services in which I’ve been trained.
